The system embraces the whole of the transport operation commencing with the receipt and registration of transport requests, through journey planning/scheduling, 'on the day' control, contracting and journey charging to management and statistical reporting. Designed for ease of use by transport service staff, the system uses a standard Windows graphical user interface and many advanced features to validate and speed data entry. Screen layouts look and feel similar to conventional forms and incorporate on screen prompts, pick-lists and on-line help. The system is protected from unauthorised access through defined user IDs and security passwords.
